![]() I like to pay an upfront price and know i am getting a full experience. I hate this model, and am sorry to say, i simply cant (wont) support it. I know some people are happy with that, but i like to tie my games together into a story or a career rather than just think, "what track do i want to race on today"īut ultimately this is a side effect of the micro transaction model, where you have to pick what little bits you want. It doesnt look like there is any cohesion. The game just looks and feels a list of separate events which are bolted together into a collection. i should be going terminally sideways into the woods.īut i could probably forgive that simply due to the sublime "feel" of the game, but what i just cant forgive is the payment structure it is all based on. if i go off the road, i dont get the feeling that i have just put a wheel in dirt, and even things like the tape on the side of the road is like a brick wall.Įven under the realistic settings, i can completely mess up, and yet somehow i seem to do a few spins and then carry on. The graphics are really wooden, i dont feel i am interacting with anything at all. The feeling of doing 140mph in the bmw on a country road with the fanatec gt2 wheel is quite exhilarating. The sounds and over all immersion are almost perfect, and the frame rate great. I love the handling, it is perfect for me, not too arcadey but still forgiving. ![]()
